What is Frontier Airlines like?
What is Frontier Airlines like? Reputation or comments? I have to fly to Portland for a few days and I can't remember ever flying on Frontier.

Re: What is Frontier Airlines like?
I'll say one thing, there's no 'easy' way to get from CVG or DAY or Columbus, OH to Portland and back. I have to be there on 4 Feb and leave after 7 PM on the 7th.

Often, the curse is having to go through a hub like Chicago O'Hare or Minneapolis or Denver PLUS having to change planes and sometimes even carriers!
I've heard from west coast friends that Frontier is pretty straightforward, but kind of spartan. Please report back on the experience!

I will. It looks like I'll be traveling about 10 to 20 days (well, not actual travel days - Maybe I should say 1 to 4 'trips') a month for a while.

Re: What is Frontier Airlines like?
I used to fly Frontier quite a bit when I was living in California and found it pretty good. Frontier's President was on one of my flights working as a flight attendant and he seemed to be a real down to earth guy (Just a few years earlier he had been a gate agent I heard). I think they just use A319's and A320's.

Re: What is Frontier Airlines like?
Frontier does have Direct TV ($5 per segment) if you want some entertainment. www.seatguru.com if you want some more details.
Delta should be able to get you to Portland non-stop out of CVG, but probably is more expensive.
