Well... since you asked.. There's this book that's several thousand years old that claims there's only one person that knows the end of the world. And.. for reasons not explained, that person chooses to hold it a secret! 
While it is interesting to think about the end of time, I am not sure if there is enough substantive knowledge to put together an informative special on it. To the defense of the History Channel, they have 24/7 of airtime to fill.
I think there are enough WWII documentaries to fill airtime until the end of time!  I do love watching them, though.
