What is the relation between SAP and ISO 9001:2000 documentation requirements?

Is there anybody who can give me information in the following questions?
What is the relation between the SAP and the ISO 9001:2000 standard documentation requirements?
How can “live together” this two system?

I have worked with a number of companies who have spent millions of dollars to implement SAP. The external audits raise nonconformities due to the inflexible SAP system. The highly paid and intelligent consultants who implement SAP find the ISO 9001 requirements unneeded and intrusive. The SAP experts do not cooperate with the need to demonstrate conformance to the ISO 9001 requirements and customer requirements. If your company wishes to modify the SAP modules to comply with ISO 9001 requirements (e.g nonconformity recognitions arising from returned material authorizations)you will pay a lot of money in the "change orders." Otherwise you will have to generate separate and contemperaneous procedures to handle the ISO requirements while you operate with SAP. You might want to consider a more flexible and considerate system that can be conveniently modified to meet the ISO requirements.

My experience with SAP has been similar. They will actually go so far as to tell you it complies with ISO 9001 requirements, when, in reality, it is an expensive pain in the neck. In the area of supplier assessment and rating, I've seen a lot of money paid for uploading data, only to have it count for naught because SAP SUCKS.

There should be numerous QS9000 people using SAP, so you may want to ask this question in the QS 9000 forum at this website.

I don't know how many money our company has spent for bought SAP, but I know that it work very well for our vendor rating. We are using it since 2003 and we are happy to use it
