Hi,
I think you had chosen to receive email notification of updates or new postings in the threads that you participated while registering. If you now choose not to receive such emails, just let us know and we'll do the needed.
Please confirm.
p/s You may choose to edit it yourself. Just go to your profile page. Click on user options, then browsing options and under 'Receive admin emails' check the 'NO' box.

How the forum software works

I have gone to your control panel and turned off email notifications for you. You should not receive further emails.
Actually, had you read the email you received, each email sent has an 'Unsubscribe' link in it. You didn't have to complain here. All you really had to do was read the email you received and clicked on the 'Unsubscribe' link.
If you have any further problems understanding how the vBulletin software works, please visit this forum: How To Use the Forum Software - Basic Instructions.
If you have problems, you can post them in this forum: Forum Software Problem and Bug Reports.
For further information about the forum software and how it works, you might also want to read through the Elsmar Cove Forum FAQ.
Thanks!
Marc

To add to this, there is an option to Edit Options in your UserCP. You will see this in the list of options:
If you do NOT want notifications of new posts in a thread you have posted in, make sure this is set to "Do Not Subscribe" or to "No Email Notification". Personally I like this set to Instant because I want to know when a new post is added to a discussion thread I have posted in so that I can follow the discussion.
NOTE that there are several email notification options you can choose.
You can also turn off email notifications when you are reading a thread you have Subscribed to. Just click on the Thread Tools drop down menu and you will see something like the following:
Note that if you are reading a discussion thread, have not posted in the discussion thread, but would like to follow the discussion thread by Email Notifications of new posts, you can Subscribe to the discussion thread without posting using the Thread Tools drop down menu:
*****
Also see: 'Subscribing' to a THREAD so you will be notified of New Posts.
