Re: Howard in Detroit/Ann Arbour area - Sun 2 March until Sat 8 March 2008
Having been raised in the area...don't go?
However, Ann Arbor is the home of the University of Michigan and is a very nice city. I personally would try to spend more time there than Detroit (unless you splurge on casinos..there are 3 there now).
Btw, I grew up across the river in Windsor. There is a very nice synagogue there (very old - from very early in Windsor history). I heard word it might be closing due to shrinking population (if interested, let me know I can do some quick research). I am not sure if orthodox or conservative (I know it is not reform).
Hope you have a good time, if I was heading there for a visit I would try to meet up with you.
John

Howard:
That makes two of us in the area...........but I had no choice!! I don't have any 'free days', as such but maybe a beer or dinner one evening. Currently, Monday and Thursday are late nights at the dealership, but Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are easier schedules. I'll contact you by pm to set up some particulars..........

Hello Howard,
I'm not sure how your calendar is filling up, but I'd be game for a rendezvous.
I live in Windsor, Ontario, but most of my customers are in the U.S...and I know Detroit and suburbs fairly well. If you need any chauffeuring around or a guided tour, let me know...I can schuffle my agenda to accommodate yours.
I'd be pleased to meet you, or assist you in any way I can.
Sincerely,
Patricia Ravanello
