Forum for RoHS, REACH, etc - Proposal

I would welcome a forum for REACH.

As it a new european legislation it will be more and more in the picture in the coming months.

For the moment the requirements are firm and are becoming clear, they are setting up the ECHA organisation, etc.
Everyone importing into the EU will have to comply to these requirements.

Recently, I was searching for information on PFOS (perfluorooctane sulfonates) - a Matsushita requirement and was unable to locate anything from searches here. Could it be a 'catch 22' situation - that we need to have a forum first before people flock in to participate?

I would agree with harry on this. Perhaps we could suggest the user start a thread on one of the topics and we can gage the interst.

I agree.

There will be lots of questions/answers in the near future about restricted materials and its use. REACH will have an effect in the USA (e.g. export to EU of product with certain chemicals, importing products from the EU, availability and cost of chemicals)

Sorry to sound off late on this - but couldn't be combined with the ISO14001 forum...
maybe make it ISO14001, RoHS, REACH and other Environmental, Safety, Health standards?
