Please help me here. As I am new to this QMS, I would very much appreciated if someone could share his/her template and sample of ISO9001:2000 audit plan. Need it badly enough.
I like Helmut's approach...Additionally, make sure that when you plan your audits that you have taken into consideration the:
status and importance of the processes and areas to be audited,
as well as the results of previous audits (8.2.2)
This means you should look at the performance metrics of your company's processes to determine their status (on plan, not on plan, etc.) as well as factoring in the "importance" of the processes in planning your audit scopes and frequency.
For ISO/TS compliant companies:
Internal audits shall cover all quality management related processes, activities and shifts, and shall be scheduled according to an annual plan.
When internal / external non-conformities or customer complaints occur, the audit frequency shall be appropriately increased (18.104.22.168)
Although the TS requirements have some add-ons that aren't mandatory for ISO, it makes sense to consider these additional factors in setting your audit scopes and frequencies. After all, why wouldn't you want to consider customer complaints and the results of external audits, etc??
One last caution...I quickly looked at the link provided by "Harry" above, and the first few "Audit Plan" templates were "ISO-element driven". Those are not acceptable for the "Process approach". I think you'd do better to follow Helmut's guidelines (IMHO).
