Not ALL Profiles show "last activity."

Really!? They should. Point some of them out to any moderator so we can investigate.

For the benefit of other readers, here is the answer I sent you, with the names of the "invisible" Cove members (except mine) deleted to preserve their privacy:

Thank you for responding. All the names you mentioned were in "hidden" mode at the time you looked at their Profiles. They were on line in the Cove, but had switched on the option which protects them from prying eyes (bosses looking for excuses to discipline for too much internet use?)
If you go to your Control Panel under "options" and click on
"Use Invisible Mode
Invisible mode allows you to browse the forums without appearing in the 'Currently Active Users' lists.
|X| Use Invisible Mode"
you, too, will not have notice of your recent activity viewable by anyone other than a moderator or administrator.
For the purpose of your experiment, I'll turn my switch off for the balance of the day and you can check my Profile again to see that it does register "last activity."

so, technically, your point about ALL Profiles not being visible is correct BECAUSE the invisible mode only hides activity, not registration, nor any previous posts. There wouldn't be much point to the feature, otherwise. This means that viewing "Who is on line?" would also not show individuals deploying "invisible" mode.
Similarly, the little icon of a computer screen next to a name would not flash when a person is on line in invisible mode.

Split from another thread ( Class Assignment on Quality Assurance Gurus) because of the topic change.

These are records of those that logged-in. For those that are around but choose not to log in (remain as guest and not log-in as registered user), there is no way of telling.
