The IWA document is copyrighted and it is against The Cove's policies to infringe on intelectual property rights. You can purchase it from ISO or your National Standards Body.

Welcome to the Cove.

The document you're referring to, which is available from ANSI, is copyright-protected, and we don't exchange those here. I'm not aware of any free gap analysis software, but if you do a search of the Cove, you might find something useful.

2nd: I need gap analysis tool for IWA2 even if not free.

Welcome.

First, IWA2 is not ISO for education (and I had edited the title of this thread accordingly) but a guide for application of ISO in education. Yes, it is copyrighted but there are many discussions on this subject and if you look hard enough, you should be able to get some materials in the web. I had a ppt. file on this subject once but lost it with my notebook.

You can get some ideas by reading some of the previous discussions here. Especially this thread and this post.

With regards to gap analysis tool, you can use the one for ISO9001.

I am working on IWA2 (2007) and have completed its comparison with ISO 9000-2000. There are about 200 points in addition to ISO 9000 that are specific to educational organizations. I have prepared Tutle Diagrams and check lists for self assessment and auditing the major processes pertinent to education sector. As organizations in the education sector vary a lot in their purpose and hence the processes. I can assist you and others interested in using IWA2 for their educational organizations.
