Consultation and Communication - Documented Procedure Required? OHSAS 18001 4.4.3
We are trying to perform a gap analysis for 18001, looking toward certification sometime late this year.
We currently have 9001 & 14001 which are somewhat integrated (not total but enough to be easily managed)
We currently have a communications procedure which would partly cover the requirements of 4.4.3 - 18001
We also have a Safety Committee Guidelines Document (uncontrolled)
Would you say that we required a documented procedure for Consultation to comply with clause 4.4.3?

You must have (a) procedure(s) for both 4.4.3.1 and 4.4.3.2 but......
No, it is not required to have a documented procedure.
It doesn't say so in the requirements.
It is up to you to decide whether you make a documented one or not.
