What kind of graph are you looking for? Is your data normal? If your data is not normal why would you want to transform it?

Were it not for the inclusion of "Minitab" in the thread title, I would have thought that this was spam of the variety I often find in my e-mail inbox these days.

Ignoring Jim's male anatomy reference (dare I say tiny joke?) for the moment, I would ask the OP: what is your real question?

Statistical software is fabulous btu it allows us to many things we probably shouldn't do.

The fact that the OP says 'I can do a Johnson transformation now what do I do with it' is a very large red flag.

If CT means Cycle Time - I would recommend the Op concentrate on Lean and statistics...Cycle time (particularly if there are problems) is notoriously skewed to the long side. Beyond knowing that there is little that minitab will do to help you improve cycle time...

Again I feel compelled to help with this issue, I know from experience Minitab can be very confusing, it is difficult to remember how everything works like which data goes in which tools. I have a Minitab tutorial that I use on how to use it with training videos and interactive models. It will walk you through with ease. If you email me I can get you hooked up with this processanalyzer-at-yahoo. processanalyzer@yahoo.com
