I am amazed at the breadth of knowledge and expereince on this site so wondered if anyone could help with the following:
Can anyone please advise on whether CE marking is currently a prerequisite for supplying associated products to the MOD and other NATO partners?
I am confused as some sources say Yes and others No (because it is under review). I do belive that exemption will be/has been removed due to the European Community directives but can't find a date for this.

I would guess that the answer is: Both. Some Nato members are not located in the EU. CE marks are not necessarily required for items distributed outside EU - although some countries outside of EU has an expectation to see the mark anyway. For items requiring a CE-mark for distribution inside of EU I believe that MOD and Nato members located in the EU will expect the CE-mark, and that you will have to comply with the requirements.
