Question Question about VDA6.1 (04.1)

Hello!

I have a question about VDA6.1 (04.1) it is the training issue.
VDA seys that "all employees at all levels who carry out activities which affect quality must be included in a training program. Requirement profiles must be defined on a function-related basis. The activities must be summarized on an individual basis...etc.."

Well, here at the company we fulfil this requirement for all employees, but for laborers we only have a training for the especific work station, I mean each laborer takes for example the training for visual inspection, when the laborer had finished the training the person is evaluated and if the evaluation is good, the laborer receives the certificate, we register it in a database and that´s all. My question is: Should we have an individual training basis for each laborer? or it is ok only for employees?

Thanks in advance for you support and looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Mayala

Our company struggled with this one, too. Our registrar (UL) required us to have an individual training plan. Now, if I understand your system correctly, you could include your generic training (inspection, etc), but this should be listed for each individual it applies to. Obviously, this assumes that you already have some training plans for individual employees (whether they are wage or salary).
