Thank You! QC Quality Circles - Assessement Score Card for Team Effectiveness

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can help me in developing an assessment score card to assess teams effectiveness based on their QCC presentations and stories. What is the criteria that should be judged?

Any ideas are welcome and appreciated.....thank you

I searched around and "Googled", but most of what I could find that looked promising were technical papers that you can download for a fee.

I will continue.

Maybe this site would be a start...

You could use the same score card that is used for Balance Score Card or any KPI measurement. Do a search in this cove and you will definitely be able to find it.

Im not sure if i understand your problem, but here is what i used when i use to handle Quality Circles:
For Long Term Assesment(per Quarter):
--number of Proposals Given
--number of Standardized Proposals
--% Standardization
--% Class "A" Proposals (you can define your class binning using savings assessment, etc)

for Assesing a Single Project
--Total number of Problem Solving Tools Used
--Time it took to Recognize a Problem
--Time it took to Find the Root Cause of the Problem
--Time to implement C/A
--Effectiveness of C/A
--Time to implement P/A
--Effectiveness of P/A
--Savings/Cost impact/Benefit of Project

Take note however that what i measure here is not how technical the project is, but more on how the culture of applying a Structured Problem Solving Process is being developed in my organization.
So i guess to define your own metrics, you need to define your own objectives first.
