Question Requirements for PMA parts for domestic use and 8130-3 Tags

Can anyone tell me what the requirements are for PMA parts for domestic use. Do they have to be certified by an 8130-3 signed off by a DAR, DMIR, or ODA and if so where is that ruling listed. I have some managers above my position asking for parts with a c of c and I need to know if that is acceptable.

Thank you,
James

My understanding is that currently, an 8130-3 tag is not required for domestic shipments......unless your customer is asking for one. Your standard C of C document should suffice for domestic shipments. That said, we do have domestic customers who require the 8130-3 tag for all shipments, domestic and export.
