Anyone have (or know where I can get my paws on) a Process Audit Checklist? I am going to be required to go through all of our COPs first and would like some ideas on setting up a checklist.

Re: Process Audit
In my experience a process audit essentially is a OTS (over the shoulder) evaluation of a process being performed. There are some things however you can do of a standard nature before and during the process audit such as:
1. Verify operator is trained/certified as requied
2. Verify Materials including sundries are certified
3. In the case of Age Sensative Materials, determine that they are within their shelf life period, and disposed of in accordance with documented procedures.
4. Verify that all documentation is properly completed during and subsequent to the process.
5. Determine if there are any past audit deficiencies related to the particular process being audited.
6. Verify all equipment used is identified/calibrated as required.
7. Verify that process documentation is appropriate for the job being performed and that it is of the latest revision.
I'm sure there are a few other things in this group but these are some of the main ones.

ANY help will be greatly appreciated!
We use a turtle diagram to help in the auditing process. Maybe this will help?
Thank You to Randy Lefferts for your informative Post and/or Attachment!
Thanks Randy, for your turtle diagrams. I especially liked your addition of F-U questions Oh, sorry that was follow-up questions. Sorry, but you made my day at the end of a long and arduous day.
But back on topic, Randy has come up with an idea that is similar to several others you can find by using the search function in the navigation bar, or by searching post attachments using the search post attachement list box at the top of the page (green box)

Much better than any turtle diagram, if you look through the list of attachments, you'll find my 'football' diagram. A number of people here have used that to good effect!

I like any tool that helps auditors follow a process approach.
