Default CASE compared to CFR 145

Greetings-

Does the CASE standard cover all the elements of CFR 145? I'm setting up an internal audit schedule to cover 145 and I'm using CASE as the base-line but I'm not sure if CASE covers all of 145.

Any insight would be most helpful!

Default Re: CASE compared to CFR 145

The CASE standard 1-A states that it is intended as a Supplement to the CFRs 145 and should be used in conjunction with them. Personally I use elements of it for my internal audits but have seen many auditors use the standard as the basis of their audit.

If you are using them as a guide for your internal auditing then you should be complying with all the applicable 145 regulations.

But now, I am curious also and will have to do a little more in-depth research myself.
