Default How to maintain the permanent residency of wife without being in that country

Hi

Me and my wife are the permanent residents of canada and one kid born here another is also p.r. my wife still doing job in back home and we dont want to loose that job, she already spend 2.2 years in canada and she can be outside for 3 more years, i came to know that if i become citizen and then if i stay with my wife back home then she can maintain her residentship aslong as i stay with her, here the whole confusion is when we comeback then the officers will ask for the documents to prove that we stayed together at the same address, how we prove this and what other type of documents we can use to prove that i stayed with her and she can continue her residentship
thanks

Here is my personal opinion. I am not an expert in this field.

In the USA we use documents such as Mail (Utilities Bills and such) that identify the person's address.

But, I think you may want to search the Canadian Laws and how they apply, or talk to an Attorney.

I would call the Canadian Consulate or where you get your passports. Ask them what type evidence you have to have.
