Please Help! China ROHS Clarification

Hi all,

A customer of ours just asked us to clarify our intent for China ROHS. This would be a mute point if we don't import to China, but if we do, what do we need to do? I think I understand the difference between EU ROHS and China, basically the same six banned subtances but china is requiring proper leabel green (e) and orange (no) and it is for homeogenous materials and EU stops at component level is that correct?

Thanks for your help in advance!

This is not an endorsement but you may want to have a look at one of SGS's web page or AeA's web page.
