Please Help! Cannot find New Thread button

When I first registered, I managed to create a new thread but now I follow all instructions, go to Forum Home, select Manufacturing forum and instructions say I will see a New Thread button at top left and at bottom.

No button appears. The only place I found a button was here in the Forum software problems.

Can someone suggest what I might be doing wrong?

I have a question to ask but cannot get a New Thread button so I can ask and I have not found the topic in the existing threads.

That is strange that you couldn't find the New Post Button. Maybe Marc will be able to help you. Have you tried to clear you browser cache?

Well you started this question. Try it again, using the same technique you used to create this thread.

Thumbs up Re: Cannot find New Thread button

We've never had problems with buttons falling off (Marc uses strong thread) JK - so I just tried and didn't have a problem. The green button was at the top, left hand of the frame with all the previous posts/threads......

Go to the Manufacturing and Related Processes forum (scroll down to the bottom of this page and find it in the forums drop-down menu). At the top left of that forum there is a green button that says New Thread. It is located at the top of the list of threads, not at the very top of the screen....

Hope this helps...

Thanks. It must have been something in my computer. I clicked the Refresh button at top of page, went back and repeated what I did before.
Now the button is where it should be.

Thanks for your help

You have to be in the actual forum which lists threads in that forum. If you are in a forum with sub-forums you will not see a button until you go into the specific forum you want to post in. This is a forum listing the sub-forums within it:

The below is from entering a sub-forum where you will see threads listed (Top first, bottom second):

Did you find the button or are you still having problems?
