Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Common Market for Medical Devices?

Can anyone tell me if there is, or there are plans to introduce, a common market arrangement for medical devices in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)?

gets three pages of hits. Those at which I looked all seem to suggest that the answer to the OP question is yes.

I would add simply even FDA has lot of reservations for Canadain products. How come they acept GCC.
As far As I know ther is no agrement with GCC.
even though if Plant is FDA approved but outside US is way complicated.

Firstly, I do not know much about the GCC but I did some search and give below information.

When I searched the GCC Website , I could not get any info on Medical devices.

The Objectives of GCC states

The GCC Charter states that the basic objectives are to effect coordination, integration and inter-connection between Member States in all fields, strengthening ties between their peoples, formulating similar regulations in various fields such as economy, finance, trade, customs, tourism, legislation, administration, as well as fostering scientific and technical progress in industry, mining, agriculture, water and animal resources, establishing scientific research centres, setting up joint ventures, and encouraging cooperation of the private sector.

No mention of Medical devices

Thanks for all the responses. I was hoping there might be a common regulatory path into some of the member states, but it seems "not yet".
