Please Help! Currently implementing Part 145 repair work - CMM (Component Maintenance Manual)

Hi All

We are a Part 21 Subpart G (POA) organisation and a are currently implementing Part 145.

1)Does our CMM (Componenent Maintenance Manual) need to be approved by our DOA and the regulatory authority prior to carrying out any repair work?

2) Am I correct in saying that the level of CMM is applicable to the type of repairs that we intend to carry out.

Hope you can help?
