Not just one pet, but two
Well... for the last ten years, we have got our pets from adoption agencies. Now.. we have two that we got from kennels: One Pomeranian, and a Chihuahua. I'm sure Beverly Hills Chihuahua didn't have anything to do with that decision.
I have always loved animals. I just seem to have a special place in my heart for them. However, after the last pet, it seemed that the wife dedicated most of the time attending to the pet. So... I didn't really "push" for the last pets. It was mainly the kids.
So.. what is your pet status??

A dog and two cats. The dog is Brussels Griffon/Cairn Terrier, and the black cat is the mother of the tabby.

Re: Not just one pet, but two
I'll find a photo sometime, but until I was divorced I had three Golden Retrievers - all at one time!
One was a pup from gun dog parents (she retrieved sometimes), one was from UK show dog parents (she looked good but didn't retrieve) and the last one (bought locally) would retrieve all day long...........and had the sweetest temperament.

Re: Not just one pet, but two
Those are some beautiful pets, Jim. Is the dog from the older dog that you had lost, or is it different?

It's not related to the other dog. We got the present one from a shelter a few months after having to put the other one down.
