Default 2008, it's almost over!

Right now (1:18PM Eastern) I'm sitting at a computer in the Admirals Club at Washington Dulles waiting for my 4:30PM flight to Dallas and then my final flight of the year home to Ft. Smith, Arkansas. I sipping on a free American Airlines Coke and my tum-tum is full of a great 5 Guys Cheeseburger w/fries, and I'm starting to get a bit sleepy so it will be nappy time in a bit.

Looking back at 2008:

I have flown over 100,000 airmiles, logged 120+ flights, spent 170-200 nights in hotel rooms and have requalified at the maximum executive levels with American Airlines, Hilton, Marriott, Intercontinental (Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza), & National Car Rentals.

I have graded over 200 Lead Auditor tests for 9001, 14001, 18001, AS9100

As the Lead Instructor I have survived "3" accreditation audits during the delivery of training courses

I think I have either written, and/or revised over a dozen or so accredited and non-accredited training courses, many of them specifically for individual clients

I requalfied as a Lead Auditor for 9001, 14001, 18001, & Z10 after performing lots of audits when I wasn't teaching

I got trained also specifically for AS9110 (went to the UK for this one) and BS25999 (the UK came to me) as well as taking some webinars (1 or 2 given by Sidney) and about 30-40 hours of in-house training

And I know there is some other stuff but like I said, it's almost nappy time in the airport and the Sandman is beating me to death.

Oh yeah.....I got to meet many of my friends from here in the Cove and that was the best part of my year on the road. And as Frodo said,"There is room for a bit more."

Yaaaaaaaaaaaawn!

Slacker.

No economic downturn in your neck of the woods, by all appearances.
