Registrar CAR (Corrective Action Request) Trend Analysis
It's been awhile since I posted something useful! My registrar mentioned last October that they will be starting something new in their process of surveillance auditing. They will be trending the corrective actions that they issued to us and then will present it and determine whether or not to issue another CAR!! LOL! Don't ya love it?
I decided to gather the ISO 9001 clauses, sites, and depts data and chart it. See attached. It's all real data with the detailed CAR and company data eliminated.
There are 3 worksheets - don't miss 'em. This file is easy for you to use, copy, benchmark if you will...
There you have it. Check it out.

Thanks to Crusader for your informative Post and/or Attachment!
Hey, it occurs to me that a really, really progressive CB would do that analysis, but instead of writing yet another NC (what does that achieve?), wouldn't it be more value-added to do some 'cause-'n-effect' analysis (rather than just charting, which isn't analysis) and prepare for you an 'oven ready' presentation for the purposes of Management Review?

Well, I was guessing that another CAR will be issued. I really don't know yet what they plan to do and how they will present to us. But I know that this next audit in April is when (I think) they are going to present it. Wait and see.

They are not telling you what they're going to do? What kind of audit springs surprises like this? I'm thinking they've lost their 'customer focus'.....no audits should bring 'new' or 'exciting' stuff to the table, without forewarning. They should do this kind of thing with a sense of openness and collaboration.........surely?
