Default DNV Academy Quick Tip and Upcoming Courses

Quick Tip: Effective Root Cause Analysis for Corrective & Preventive Action
Successful corrective and preventive action processes are cornerstones to continual improvement. These processes are used to solve actual and potential problems relative to customer complaints, opportunities and nonconformities. Effective corrective and preventive action processes will directly contribute to the bottom line of any organization, not only by preventing occurrence/recurrence of actual and potential nonconformities, but by saving resources from having to address the same issues repeatedly.
Most quality professionals will agree that the most important aspect of successful corrective and preventive action processes is the proper identification of the basic cause (or “root cause” as it is often referred by sectors within the community of quality professionals.) The action taken to prevent occurrence/recurrence will not be completely effective if you have not identified the root cause. Check out the 1-day workshop Effective Root Cause Analysis for Corrective/Preventive Actions.
