Best. Complaint. Evah.
I've flown Virgin before, even to India, and the food has always been fine. So I'm not quite sure what happened in this case, maybe they ran out of Western-style grub. It would be interesting to point our Indian Covers to this, just to get their take on it.
Either way, awesome complaint!

Re: Best. Complaint. Evah.
My curiosity is piqued. Did Virgin and/or its owner, Branson, give this poor sod anything other than "Thanks for the letter."?
What was the Corrective Action? Any? For that matter, what was the root cause?

Actually yes, it's definitely seemed to have hit the mark.
See the second page for details of his invitation to their food selection place etc.

Still seems like kind of a weak response - more to appeal to public relations than to trace and correct the original problem - who is to say I would like Oliver's choices (bangers and mash, maybe?) more than the slime Oliver encountered?

Re: Best. Complaint. Evah.
It is a weak response in that they know he is not going to take them up on his offer, who would. It is as if they are telling him, hey you think you can do better, well have at it. If I received a response such as that I would have been a little upset.
