We always have difficulty meeting the above requirements on the need
to promote suppliers mmonitoring their processes .

Are supplier inspection record or COA sufficient??

Suppliers usually are reluctance to reveal their internal performance.

We track and chart each of our suppliers for on time delivery, and another file tracks and charts of quality performance. These are issued monthly and reviewed to determine if any actions are needed to improve supplier performance.

Question Re: Suppliers Monitoring their Processes - How to comply with Clause 7.4.3.2

All you have to do is promote process monitoring........If your suppliers are ISO 9001 compliant already (which they are required to be) what's the difficulty? It doesn't say they have to share anything about their performance........

Do your suppliers monitor their process performance or not? If not, then your organization is required to 'promote' this activity with them!

Thanks for all your input.

We have sent out letters to suppliers promoting TS & need for
process monitoring.
Do you really have to do this? I am afraid that you are still not having a clear understanding of this section. Why not have a look at this thread: TS 16949 Clause 7.4.3.2 Promotion of supplier monitoring - What is meant by promote?
