I recently flew with them from Frankfurt to Gdansk.
If you have baggage you must pay to check in as you cannot checkin on line with baggage.
I paid the extra 2 euros for priority boarding and got the front row.
Before me in the check in were 2 tourists with a reasonable amount of luggage, only 15 kg free, and they were asked to pay some enormous amount for excess baggage.
Strict check of carry on as well.
If you know the rules it is ok, most of the passengers were Poles going home for a visit.
It was some half of the price of a regular Lot/Lufthansa flight, $90 instead of $210 when I booked which was because I had to change my schedule and had a non refundable ticket for the previous itinerary.
The flight was OK and the attendants friendly.
The toilets were free

I've used them quite a lot over the years. The planes are quite good now (they used to be old and scruffy) but the seat pitch is bare minimum - as you might expect. Fares are really low but I have always had good service and generally on-time arrivals - better than most of the 'big boys'.

As for charging for the toilet, I am not sure if he really means it - he loves to create attention for the airline and himself so it is most likely a publicity stunt.

I've never flown them, but I heard this week that their seats don't recline and they don't have trays either. One of the few airlines that order retracting stairs in their planes...

They might be onto something....Give you all the free coffee and tea you want....and charge 10 euros for a key to the bathroom.

I believe they only fly short routes, so they might as well remove these air johns; no smell, less maintenance, less pollution...
