Let Me Help You How do QFD (Quality Function Deployment) & KANO MODEL fit in a quality system?

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW THE QUALITY FUNCTION DIAGRAM AND KANO MODEL FIT INTO THE QUALITY SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS! ARE THEY ADDITIONS OR REQUIREMENTS OF ISO/QS9000.TO WHICH STANDARD TO THEY APPLY!

QFD and the Kano model could be used to satisfy the requirements of APQP. I believe if you embrace QFD/HOQ then you will satisfy most of the APQP requirements. The Kano model could also be used to demonstrate your policies for customer satisfaction.

For those of you that have quality policies that say "....we exceed customer expectations" the Kano model would be a perfect example of how you can accomplish this.
