Food Safety - Is it a must to do laboratory analysis for Pesticides
Dear Friend
is any company working in the food safety and hope to get ISO 22000 or HACCp and recive row material like vegetables
is it must do lab analysis for Pesticides ?
where may be farmer use forbidden Pesticides and may be not ?
so is it must to do this lab analysis to check if there is Pesticides in the vegetables or not

I am no expert in HACCP, but let me try common sense. If pesticides might be present in the incoming products and your washing/cleaning process can not guarantee it's removal, thus representing a risk to the downstream recipients, including consumers, how could you justify NOT evaluating the product for pesticides?
What part of SAFETY in food safety is hard to understand?

I do not deal with vegetables but we do have raw nuts! If you are using ISO 22000 or HACCP, you have identified all risks which should include pesticides.
At that point you either need to be able to show 100% confidence in your process to remove pesticides to an acceptable level (and keep product separated) or conduct tests to verify that an acceptable level has been reached.
It does not sound like you have confidence so I would agree with Sidney that testing is in order.
