Re: Cap & Trade....Carbon Tax

Looks like the tip of the iceberg on what is trying to be done to our country! In my days in the military there was a word for this, treason.

Re: Cap & Trade....Carbon Tax

Maybe I'm not understanding why this is newsworthy. Wouldn't you assume scientists who believe man is behind global warming would want their research to be published instead of the alternative? Should they not take issue with research at odds with their own findings and try to counter it?

If you showed me private emails from a site of people who deny climate change is happening at all I would expect to see the same emails, just with the topics reversed.

Re: Cap & Trade....Carbon Tax

Couple of things to think about:

http://www.nam.org/NewsFromtheNAM.aspx?DID={DAA0484A-3637-4F17-B416-566C5CF6DEFF}

http://www.nam.org/NewsFromtheNAM/Pr...pAndTrade.aspx

These two documents basically predict lots of jobs moving offshore if these efforts pass.

Protecting the environment does not necessarily mean cutting our own economic throat, in my opinion.

Other thoughts:

Basically, it appears that we are in the midst of a somewhat normal cycle. Not exactly what we hear from the WH though, or some in Congress.

They used fake science like the global climate change hacks - and their memos got spilled, too. Good catch!

I do not see anybody challenging the science in that earlier quoted article, just complaining that scientists were advocating the position they were in favor of?
