Feasibility Study rather than an FMEA on a Risk Issue - Clause 7.2.2

My company are certified ISO/TS 16949 and now are developing AS 9100. Question: I may do just only feasibility study on a risk that may occure before accepting the new coming product from customer on activity 7.2.2 element, rather than to do product or process FMEA, don't I?

ISO TS at 7.2.2.2 say so.
The organization shall confirm the manufacturing feasibility of the proposed product in the process of contract review, including risk analysis.
FMEA is a well known method to do a risk analysis but not the unique.
In brief, to implement a risk analysis you should pursue a method , shared across the organization.

Honestly I read and re-read your question and don't understand it.
What's feassibility study on a risk?
You mean risk analysis?
7.2.2.2 speaks of manufacturability feasability including risk analysis (meaning risks associated with the manufacturing process- PFMEA)
I fail to understand what this has to do with "risk that may occure before accepting the new coming product from customer"

W_grunfeld, my English may not clear enough. It is your understood, right. But I just want focus on the risk may be thread on compliance with customer requirement in general, not appling FMEA approach.

It would be helpful if you tell use which revision of the AS9100 standard you are using to obtain the best answer to your question.

Both revisions of the standard in Clause 7.2.2 list some of the risks that must be review prior to accepting the order but you should also look at risks posed by potential labor strikes, facilities relocations or shutdowns, production capacity limitations, availability of materials, equipment etc.

The standard is telling you that you must reduce the risks as they relate to the customer because if your company cannot meet the delivery date it means a plane cannot fly, a spacecraft cannot be launched and a weapons system cannot be used in battle.

Yes jeff, that the way I will do rather than focus on manufacturing process risk. I am developing AS9100 revB not revC.

I think the project risk management may be the mandatory because the requirement move to 7.1.2 for revC.

The risks listed in 7.2.2 do not move to 7.1.2 in AS9100C but are linked to the addtional requirements of Risk Management found there.
