Re: Corrective / Preventive action and Continuous Improvements

Hi Anil123,

Corrective actions are implemented after an incident has occurred to prevent that particular incident from happening again. Preventive actions are implemented before an incident occurs. In summary, pereventive actions should remove the requirement for corrective actions.

Continuous Improvements are the effective results of implementing corrective and preventive actions.

I hope this clarifies,

Jo

Re: Corrective / Preventive action and Continuous Improvements

Hi,

We do product inspections. If any product observed deviated, we have raise corrective and preventive action. In same way during quality audit if any deviation observed we raise NCR where we ask for corrective and prenetive actions.
As we are following the practice as above. During MRM what CAPA I should include and how should I go for continual improvements as we are taking actions during corrective and preventive analysis only.
Please suggest

You shall include the status of corrective and preventive actions coming from not only internal audits, but also external ones, and from the other QMS processes ( for example, corrective action on some supplier of yours).

Continuous improvement is linked to the measurement of your processes.
When you reach compliance ( this means you are conform to whet you set) , you should move forward, setting other objective, more challenging, in line with your quality strategy to support your business plan. This is the cycle PDCA that move versus continual improvement process.
hope this helps
