Re: Happy Thanksgiving Covers
Yep. And after giving thanks for all our blessings and eating like there is no tomorrow, what do we have??

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Count your blessings, and you will quickly realize there is much to be thankful for.

Let the 2009 Holiday Season Begin!
Pretty soon it will be party until January 2010. Thanksgiving in the US in 2 weeks, then Christmas, and of course New Years. The seven week 'summer holiday opposite' is about upon us. Things will be slowing down a bit here is my bet.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving Covers
We'll be celebrating twice
In Sierra Vista, AZ with friends and a few days later with Judi's sister in Witchita, KS
It will all of course require flying and driving, things I normally don't do for relaxation

That sounds a bit like we (ex-Pat Brits) do to celebrate Thanksgiving! We have one on July 4th and the one in November.......

July 4th? Oh yeah, around the office that's when our ex-Pats celebrate shedding themselves from the burden of the colonies

Bah - America's Team? Please. Arrogance of the highest order.
And the Ice Bowl wasn't on Thanksgiving - it was the 1967 NFL championship game played Dec. 31 between the Packers and Cowboys in Green Bay - the game to decide who would advance to the second Super Bowl.
(brought to you by a life-long Packer fan)
