Question Which Handheld Air Particle Counter do you recommend?

We would like to purchase a handheld air particle counter to incorporate the counts in our regular cleanroom monitoring? Please let me know which ones you have used and which you recommend.

Thanks.

Re: Which Handheld air particle counter do you recommend?

Does anyone have an suggestions for DesiQE

My clean room experience is limited and we used a 3rd party for testing and not continuous monitoring.

Re: Which Handheld Air Particle Counter do you recommend?

I have used Climet, but have not really a comparative reference to tell you if it is the one you should consider

It looks like that there is an organization named BPA who could probably give you a a better answer. This is the link: http://www.particlecounters.org/

Greetings and good hunting!

Re: Which Handheld Air Particle Counter do you recommend?

We have used Met One in the past. Recently got a Kanomax which seems a good value and it probably more available in India. We monitor once a day.

Re: Which Handheld Air Particle Counter do you recommend?

A few years back, we had a Cover looking for 'user manual' for the particular counter they had - reason was, the person who regularly operates it quit.

So, one important aspect you should pay attention to is availability of 'local support'.

This is a very valid point and I am glad Harry brought it to our attention. Also the friendlier the equipment the easier the training to operate it

Re: Which Handheld Air Particle Counter do you recommend?

They are both easy to use - Kanomax displays 3 sizes of particles at the same time - and has more features for data collection etc. The base Met One only does one size - period. Met One offers more features on their more expensive models. Kanomax seems to offer the best deal in the $2000 range.
