Re: Converting Best Measurement (BMC) to Calibration & Measurement Capability (CMC)
Dear Sir,
Thank you..
Thank you for the info.
I am finding it difficult to get samples of the conversion especially in the field of RF/microwave.
For an instance , for Amplitude modulation/Freq Modulation and Phase modulation measurements using the 8902A/S..the accuracy specs stata something like these..
for AM ,
Accuracy is given as 2% of reading + 1 digit
for FM,
Accuracy is given as 1% of reading + 1 digit
and for PM,
Accuracy is given as 4% of reading + 1 digit
but how do i present it in CMC ?
I know i have to mention the Parameter being calibrated, the range , the uncertainty and the instruments that were used to derive the CMC but i am still unsure about the values to be put.
Can we still be using 4% of reading + 1 digit as our CMC?
Rgds
