Question Can one Management Representative operate between two sister firms

Dear Friends, There are two different companies in two different names. One is manufacturing firm and another one is retailor. But both are sister companies and MD is same. Can MD appoint one person as MR for both the companies? Regards, Maheswari

I think so.
It is a management decision.
Are both companies certified vs ISO 9001?

Re: Can one Management Representative operate two sister firms

Yes,

Absolutely management can appoint one MR for two firm. I was MR for 2 firms and it is absolutely agreed by auditor.

MR should have indepth knowledge of QMS and process.

I think there should not be a problem.

Regards

Vijay

Re: Can one Management Representative operate two sister firms

Why couldn't someone be a Mgmt Rep for two organizations? I think it is all about effectiveness.

Yes, of course. Sounds like a sensible action to me.
