Exclamation 6 Sigma values - Differences between continents

I have recently been doing some work using National Instruments Labview software. Having used their package to calculate my process sigma value I am finding values are falling rather than increasing as I expected. As these values are in the correct range I was wondering whether there arw different standards regarding sigma ratings. Do some regard a process sigma of 2 as the optimum, and others 0.

Can anyone help,

Thanks

Max,

I apologize that I have responded earlier. Unfortunately I have been 'unconnected' for about a week.

I am not sure I understand your question. Could you clarify please? Are you indicating that your process spread is 2 sigma and is getting tighter?

Rick

I guess he left the parade. But the thread title is interesting....

Is there any difference in 6 sigma between continents?
