Question What do 'Read Across', 'Drill Deep' & '6 Panels' mean in GM's QSB Sheet?

Could anybody tell me what do 'read across' , 'drill deep' & '6 panels' mean? I find them in GM's QSB sheet, and I couldn't understand.
Are they applied to sovle problems or just specific names for something?
If anyone could,thanks a lot!

Re: What do 'Read Across', 'Drill Deep' & '6 Panels' mean in GM's QSB Sheet?

Read Across and Drill Deep are specific aspects of the GM problem report lingo.

Read across is sheet to complete to verify that you have considered if this defect or root cause of the a defect can impact any other similar part or manufacturing process.

Drill Deep is a specific sheet to complete in regards to a defect and how made, how not detected etc.

Six pannel is the monthly scorecard which GM posts to your DUNS number.

All of detail is explained in the QSB tool box presentation you can find on supplypower.
