Question Cp and Cpk can be more than 2?

I unclear this concept.
Today when manager meeting. Each production section present about Cp and cpk. line A cp = 7 Cpk = 6.5 etc.

What is the ture about cp, cpk.

Dear Friend ,
Yes it is possible to have Cp 7 and cpk 6'5. It is possible when the specified tolerance is very large compair to your process variation
like your need tolerance on hole as +/_2 mm and using CNC machine for that with accuracy in Micron then it is possible
On second side pls check the rejection PPM and use of CP & cpk ,6 sigma level and rejection ratio , If not matching means data is not okay

THis is my explanation only ,we will wait for other expertise comment on it
