Read This! I looking for a book, but cannot remember the name? . . . . HELP!

Please help, I remember being asked to read a book regarding an organisation that changed its 'way of thinking' and in fact changed how it worked.

Now, I do not remeber much about the book as I have not read. but it was recommended to me by my Quality teacher at university. He mentioned something about a company changing to a more TQM driven company type of thingy! In which the owner or manager who spent a lot of time away from his office, visiting customers or something, kept on being moved to a smaller office until he was put in a tiny room thus utilising the space used in the business. I also, but may be messing my memories up, remember that they would only accept emailed correspondance thus reducing the 'paper' trail of something!

This may be a wild shot in the dark! (or was that something the misses said last night) but can anyone help me find this book. It was not a quality 'how to' book but it was explained to me as more of a storey or novall!

Your help is really needed!!
