Question Does the SI acronym stand for Système International d'Unités?

Hi,

What does the SI acronym stand for? Is it the Societe Internationale or the International System of Units?

Cheers.

Re: SI Acronym?

Here it is, originally French: Système international d'unités.

"International System of Units" is the English translation.
