Re: Integrating 3 System Standards - ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001

I'm looking for an Integrated Audit Checklist for ISO 9001, 14001 and OSHA 18001. We are using three different checklists and if someone has already combined them it would save much time and effort. I checked the Post Attachments List and could not find.
Anyone have this done already?

My Thanks for any help.

This has probably been mentioned before, but I couldn't find a recent thread quickly, so please forgive me if this is redundant.

Does anyone have experience with integrating these three systems for registration? If so, what challenges did you face? How long did it take? How difficult was it to develop and implement?

Also, if one was used during the gap analysis, does anyone have a comparison chart or matrix that they might be willing to share?

Thanks in advance.

We are also into the implementation of ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 with ISO 9001 ,

We have planned for initial seperate tracks for EMS + OHSAS & QMS

for initial understanding of requirements of EMS + OHSAS & QMS, and then initial implementation

after the start while preparing the documentation & usage of documents we will be integrating QMS+EMS +OHSAS

It is MUCH more effective to understand the 3 standards and implement common documents as appropriate BEFORE you implement separate tracks. It would be like building three separate houses, with the idea that later you will connect the three houses into one big house. It can be done, but it will be a much better house if you design it to be one big house from the beginning.

It takes a little more training and understanding the three standards at the beginning, but will save MUCH MORE effort later when you don't have to tie it together.

I have worked with many companies who began separate, and then combined, and all said it would have been better to do it from the beginning.

P-D-C-A - Plan it better from the beginning.

If you need help with this, you may send me a private email.

Best Success...
