Danny,
Sorry, but I am not aware of any. You may want to leave a Private Message for WALLACE, another fellow Canadian who has been an excellent source of all kinds of shareware software for me. He doesn't frequent the Cove as much now, but I believe that he will get an email notification of your private email to him. I believe you can locate him using the Member List link at the top of the page.
Regards,
Kevin

Danny,
Can't remember any freeware/shareware program offhand. You could try searching some big shareware archives such as simtel.net.
Also take a look at http://members.shaw.ca/ron.blond/index.html
for some applets for vernier/micrometer reading that you may find useful.

If you find anything please share.
Our company just bought some software for basic gage and blueprint reading.
Its a good program for basic training, but I did not really teach how to read the instruments.
The link below with the applets is nice but we're still stuck on inches. *shrug*

Just a thought
Try some of the gage manufacturers. Mitatoyo conducts a class - maybe they have something - wouldn't hurt to give them a call or send an e-mail. Sorry, I don't have their number but I'm sure a web search will provide it for you.
