Hehehe... FRS (Facility Record Sheet) Review - Acronym

How I had these buggers!

We just received an Assessment Schedule from our registrar and the first item under Opening Meeting is FRS Review. Just what does this mean?

FRS is Facility Record Sheet. Is your registrar NSF-ISR?

It is just a data sheet of the plant. Number of people, shifts, times of shifts, plant closings, management rep, size of plant, etc., etc.

Yes, registrar is NSF-ISR. Why do you ask? Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Now may not be the time to ask - but I had nothing to do with the selection of the registrar - only got hired after the fact .

We have also been selected for a "witness" audit by IAOB. It is scheduled for December 18th & 19th - just in time to spoil the holidays!

We use NSF-ISR and have found our auditor to be fair and understanding of the maturity of our QMS. Be prepared to review the FRS at all audits.
