Thumbs up Me too

Y'all have a good un! As most of the members have Good Friday off, they won't see this thread unless they check in on the weekend. What's the chances of that? For you diehards, like me, enjoy the family and friends!

Default Peeps

Happy Easter to all!

I suppose this could go in the recipe thread - but I'll stick it here. Our annual tradition on Easter has become "Peep jousting."

Take 2 chick PEEP's. (Preferably different colors) Insert a toothpick in each one. Put them on a paper plate, about 1-2 inches apart. Put the plate in the microwave and start for about 30 seconds. Watch the joust begin! First one to stab the other wins. We haven't tried the bunny peeps yet, but might be fun!

Take turns - place bets - its all in the angle of the tooth pick!

(What else to do with them? Eat them?)

I can't wait to get home to try this now. I'm sure my son will love it.

Happy Easter everyone

FYI - you may want to line the bottom of the microwave with paper towel too. It's not the neatest sport.

Ok, it is nighttime...but I had to work on Good Friday!!!! Not because my new company wouldn't give me the day off, but because there are several reports due by Monday so I had to work for 6 hours today to do it... boo hoo. )

HAPPY EASTER to everyone, and remember the story of the Sunday School class assignment and the empty egg. It is "The Reason for the Season".

New beginnings; Rebirth.

If this is not your particular religious belief, then that's OK. It is still a good credence and a good will. And that is all that religion is about, after all.

Jim,

They are only around during Easter. Although their popularity has brought about some snowman peeps and Santa peeps at Christmas time!!!

Would you like me to send you some?

Laura
