APQP Software - What do you recommend? Any reviews?
We currently have a software in place to look after our Quality System other than the APQP side (flow diagram, FMEA & control plans). Does anyone know of a software product that does this and is done on a MS system.
Thanking you in advance,
KY

APQP Format
Hi Ken,
What is the format you are currently using, or should I say the software tool your using? Are you looking for a pure APQP software product or a FMEA tool that supports APQP? Can you share a little more information?
Cheers,
MC

There are a lot of threads here on software such as Powerway, Impact etc.
Do a search, but decide what you really want before you buy.

The software we are using is "Quality Plus", it was written by someone who was meeting customer paperwork requirements only. We need a software that does the Flow Diagram, FMEA and Control Plans. The system would allow for a comprehensive flow diagram and FMEA and a useable Control plan. Meaning that items from the FMEA that do not require a control check (verification) can be tiggered to not have that item be cascaded down to the Control plan, ie "safety items", "ergononics".
Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
KY

We use QPLUS by Harpco (in MI). It's not the easiest software to "get to know", and you really do have to understand your processes to obtain the maximum benefit, but I swear by it.
I don't have the URL handy but a search of "harpco" would get you to their homepage for information.

We use AutoDCP from Customer Driven Systems (248) 276-8800. It is the easiest software to use that I have found. Very automated and user friendly.
