Training to get more value from our ISO and TS efforts
I am both an auditor and trainer/consultant. I have provided over 900 3rd party certified audits in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS-16949, and QS-9000.
I also do training and consulting.
As such, it gives me exposure to both sides of the table. I see things as an auditor which helps me provide better consulting. I see things as a consultant/trainer, which helps me focus on value-added areas when auditing. It keeps me grounded, and has served clients well.
Particular areas of focus are: - Getting more value and profit from ISO and TS,
- Integrating ISO 14001 into quality systems,
- Helping managers focus on the right things in ISO and TS,
- Eliminating waste from our processes,
- Defining the ISO process approach more effectively and efficiently,
- Making systems work more effectively between departments and layers in the organization,
- And, finally, we are offering specialized training to improve Healthcare system efficiencies.
All training is customized for each client. If you send me a private email through the Cove, I'll be happy to discuss particulars.
PS: Thanks Marc for the opportunity to share.

I do offer training in SPC and Systems Thinking. A primary presentation that I use is the Deming Red Bead Experiment. You may contract for my help through the Fluor Corporation (a current negotiation is occurring with Los Alamos as this is posted).
If you have an ASQ function, or something that can be chalked up to ASQ "Community Works", or any non-profit professional society for that matter, I will happily speak for no fee, just cover my travel expenses.
An example of an upcoming speech: http://asq1401.org/IQF2005/IQF%20JC0...t%206%2005.pdf
I have attached a services sheet.

Internal Auditors
I offer training on ISO 9001 and 13485 auditor training. In particular, I have a nice 1 day auditor refresher that focuses on process auditing, writing great audit questions and handling conflict with auditees.
Thank you for the opportunity to post.

It's clear that you've put much of yourselves into this software design, giving it much depth and texture. "

Artichoke - Your web site can be linked to via your putting it in your profile. I'll let the post stand, but technically you are supposed to clearly state your association with the company you are promoting. This would be less of an issue if you had a couple hundred posts here. Sorry about being picky...

Re: Elsmar Cove Members who are Training Providers
Thanks for the opportunity to post.....
The International Accreditation Service (IAS) provides training in ISO/IEC 17011, ANS/ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO Guide 65, Measurement Uncertainty, and other topics as appropriate, and the courses have been provided both Nationally and internationally.....
The courses are not provided on a continuous basis, but are periodically offered, with dates, prices, etc., posted on the website, and also posted in the IAS eNews (sign-up available through the website also).
http://www.iasonline.org
DISCLAIMER:
I am a staff Accreditation Officer for IAS and am the Staff Metrologist. I do not normally provide the training myself, as we have other personnel for that. I do offer one day and half day introductions to ANS/ISO/IEC 17025 at NCSLI (National Conference of Standards Laboratories - International) and MSC (Measurement Science Conference), when selected by the appropriate committees for those conferences.
Any questions with respect to my affiliation with IAS, or as regards IAS may be sent off-line.
