Every now and then
Every couple of months I have to re-install the latest version of Acrobat. Something happens to it at my work computer. At home, it always works just fine. We receive advertisement proofs in pdf format and that's how I can tell something is wrong. They just don't open. No error message. Just no response at all. It was the same thing with trying to open the subject file in this thread. No problemo!!

For you folks who are Adobe pdf fans, I came across some neat free software that lets you convert most any type file into a .pdf file and from .pdf to .doc files, add digital signatures, etc. Maybe everyone except me already knew about this stuff except me, but just in case you didn't, try looking at www.pdf995.com. Some handy stuff. If you don't pay for it you see an ad every time you use it, but for the casual user with no budget (like me) it is pretty neat. I have no connection whatsoever to the product (except user).

When I click on the link in energy's post I get a new window to open. When I click on the link to the document in Marc's post, I get a forums permission error.
